Second Best ST Movie. submitted by tbbrown76 on June 18, 2014, 7:55pm Wrath of Khan is better, but here we have whales, Klingons, time travel, Spock swimming in a giant aquarium and Scotty trying to use 1980's computers. And, Scotty gives them the formula for transparent aluminum. It is all good.

The Best submitted by kathscot on July 12, 2014, 3:36pm This is the best one - a great sense of humor. Have re-watched it many times

Personal Exception submitted by Fevvers - STAR473 on July 19, 2014, 11:50pm It seems like everyone except me loves this one. I found it hokey and immature. But I suspect if I watched it again I would laugh at the time-travelling shenanigans instead of just wincing. I am a diehard Trekkie (yes, Trekkie - was Trekkie before there were "Trekkers"), and I daresay I was snobbish about this one. It felt like a cop-out; I prefer the space adventures and allegorical conflicts.

Amazing submitted by rgaller on July 23, 2016, 5:23pm This is my absolute favorite Star Trek movie. It is very silly and funny. Not serious at all.

My favorite Star Trek movie! submitted by Xris on August 29, 2018, 9:49pm This one is my favorite!! Going around San Francisco, looking for nuclear "wessels", and transparent aluminum to make a giant whale tank in a Klingon Bird of Prey. I love it when Scotty was trying to talk to the computer through the mouse!!! It's just sooo good!!!

A personal favorite submitted by Marina_Hope on July 4, 2023, 11:36am Of the star trek movies, Wrath of Khan is objectively the best, however this one will always be my favorite. This really feels like an extended episode from the TV series, capturing the humor, relevance, and wonderful character dynamics that made the show a classic.
