Amazing submitted by aamasud on August 23, 2019, 8:52pm I really love reading this book

Excellent writer submitted by Angela Argento on August 20, 2020, 4:11pm Over the years I've greatly enjoyed Phillipa Gregory's books and this one didn't disappoint!

Ending the War of the Roses submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on June 24, 2022, 10:37am Philippa Gregory's series of novels about the War of the Roses (called the Cousin's War at the time), culminates with "The White Princess." The story is about Princess Elizabeth, who eventually married English King Henry VII and thereby becomes queen.
The novel has some very disturbing elements that may not be historically accurate. The novel portrays Elizabeth as having an affair with her uncle, King Richard III. It also shows Henry forcing Elizabeth to get pregnant before he agrees to marry her.
