Great Album by a Great Band submitted by arguzman on July 16, 2013, 10:36pm When I heard the first single from Delta Machine, "Heaven," I was worried I wouldn't get into this album. However, my fears were alleviated upon a full listen. "Heaven" is a slow moving song and, in my opinion, doesn't work well as a single. It works perfectly well in the context of the rest of the album, which is often slower and moody, but in a cohesive way that just works. And it still kicks out some energetic tracks, like "Soothe My Soul" (a much better single, IMHO). You can hear influences from delta blues music, which is a reference for the title as well. If blues and electronics sounds like a fun match, then give this a listen!
