Ok submitted by rimpopu on August 31, 2014, 8:26pm What drew me to this book is the bold illustrations even though the bird looks kind of weird. This can be a good introductory book for those who are just starting to read graphic novels. In some pages there is no clear demarcation between one scene to another. So it can be a bit confusing when two different conversations take place on the same page. It has a simple story. Polarhog (whatever animal that is) and Barry the bird are friends. One day polarhog knocks on Barry's door and takes him out on a surprise. After going on a what is seemingly a pointless walk with some hats and ice cream what comes in the end is a surprise that Barry did not expect at all.
