Interesting submitted by rimpopu on July 29, 2014, 12:47pm In Michigan, most people are probably familiar with the phrase 'a gaggle of geese' thanks to the Canadian geese we see or hear about most of the year. But do you know about a murder of crows? or a parliament of owls? or a walk of snails? If you are curious about such collective nouns that will give you great bragging rights with your friends but you probably will never use the rest of your life, then this is the book for you. It makes an interesting read to adults too as we tend to think of ourselves so smart but this book gives you pause in your thinking, and really makes you think, if you know what I mean. I would recommend this book to teachers and parents who are teaching collective nouns to children to show them what other 'groups' exists out there.
