Bowery at Midnight: Professor Brenner is a kindly soup kitchen operator in the Bowery by day and the boss of a dangerous gang of robbers and murderers by night. After his henchmen get in trouble, the professor has no choice but to kill them and turn them into zombies.
The ape man: conducting weird scientific experiments, crazed Dr. James Brewster, aided by his colleague Dr. Randall, has managed to transform himself into a hairy, stooped-over ape-man. Desperately seeking a cure, Brewster believes only an injection of recently-drawn human spinal fluid will prove effective. With Randall refusing to help him, it falls to Brewster and his captive gorilla to find appropriate donors.
