A homicide hits close to home when homicide lieutenant Abe Glitsky's daughter is found dead. Hunched over her is a heroin junkie, who has her jewelry and wallet in his pocket, and happens to be holding a smoking gun. Glitsky is unwilling to give up until he finds out who was, in fact, the murderer. He would never stop pushing until he found an answer to his daughter's death.
