Enjoyable submitted by srclark734 on July 9, 2014, 7:52pm This is the first book

Book is better than the movie submitted by tbbrown76 on July 12, 2014, 8:55pm You have to read the book, first.

Maze Runner submitted by SBNB on July 3, 2015, 3:07pm This is a good book, but I’m honestly not sure if I prefer the movie or the book. The BOCD was nice so that I could listen while doing something else.

narrator a bit wooden submitted by camelsamba on July 17, 2016, 10:17pm Meh. This does include a rather thrilling dystopian adventure tale, and I'm sure there is an audience that loves it. It just wasn't my cup of tea. This is the first time I've understood what reviewers mean when they write the world building is weak - there were so many inconsistencies and things that didn't make sense in this one. I have no desire to continue the series.

Audiobook narrator was a bit robotic. He did give distinguishable voices and accents to the main characters, but his pacing and delivery was a bit wooden.

Good submitted by zmclaugh on July 30, 2018, 4:19pm This is a really good book, which is unfortunate, because the series goes downhill from here. That said, this book is still great--mysterious and with lots of action. I would recommend this, despite what happens in the rest of the series.

Maze Runner submitted by c_zhang on June 28, 2019, 12:44am Engaging and action-packed. The narration wasn't the best though.
