The Exciting Life of A Guinea Pig submitted by Fevvers - STAR473 on June 28, 2015, 4:23pm I remember as a kid that this book made having a guinea pig as a class pet seem much more exciting. Olga has quite a lot of panache!

Quirky, funny, charming submitted by FordAlpha on August 10, 2023, 10:43pm By the author of the "Paddington" series, "Olga da Polga" is a series of episodic tales about a spunky guinea pig, her human caretakers, and her various animal friends. These stories were great favorites for me and my siblings as children, and even inspired my family to acquire pet guinea pigs (30+ years later, my kids and I are the humans for four spirited piggies). The stories themselves hold up well; they actually are great fun to read to my kids. Olga is clever and resourceful, and yet still unmistakably a guinea pig in her knowledge and view of the world. The situations are funny, warm, and often surprising.
