Whimsy and Fun submitted by Sara W on August 29, 2015, 9:52pm Margaret Mahy has a real gift for words, and the rhymes and rhythm of this book are great, but the real star is the illustrations. Polly Dunbar's exuberant illustrations are silly and fun and bright and bouncy - drawing in a listener and keeping their attention fixed. I had picked up this book hoping for the magic of their book Bubble Trouble to continue, but this book is much simpler and quicker.
