gorgeous illustrations
submitted by camelsamba on July 13, 2016, 9:15pm
I did not realize this was part of a series, but it is reasonable enough as a stand-alone volume. In that context, though, it's a little unclear who the target audience is. Not sure my boys would have enjoyed it as a story before they were reading on their own, although of course we read picture books together long past that time. Maybe you really need to know the full context of "Guardians of Childhood"?
Set aside that bit of uncertainty: the illustrations are simply gorgeous, especially any time the sandman is traveling.
