Shocking Neo Noir from a master submitted by irenzero on June 14, 2013, 8:07pm Killer Joe takes the kinda noir set up, a murder for insurance plot, and turns it up to 11. McConaughey and the rest of the cast showcase what they can do when given a chance, not for the faint of heat, Killer Joe is a sure to be cult gem for a new generation.

So much fun submitted by jibkidder on June 18, 2022, 1:25pm If a family based black comedy with a murder-for-hire plot staring McConaughey sounds bad, skip this, but I loved it, just really a lot of out loud laughter. If you did like it though, I also recommend "Bug". Friedkin really catches it some times, with this one he caught a big one.
