Why you don't sign over all the rights to an actor submitted by Steve Amick on August 31, 2016, 9:13pm The actor Robert Knott seems to have been involved in the film adaptation of Parker's Hitch and Cole characters. Maybe the deal allowed him to take over posthumously, but it's not the same voice. For one thing, there's not explanation as to why the narrator, the protagonist Everett Cole, suddenly knows the name and function of every little gizmo aboard a locomotive.
