A year after the death of his brother Tom, Jack is having trouble coming to terms with his loss and has hit a wall. An intervention in the guise of his best friend Iris results in a planned week of solitude in the country at her family's cabin. Iris' sister Hannah had the same idea and she and Jack inadvertently have a night of drunken confessions and shared experiences.

Highly recommend! A charming film. submitted by monipate on June 27, 2013, 10:51pm Your Sister's Sister is a lovely film. With gorgeous shots of the Pacific Northwest as well as women as beautiful and talented as Emily Blunt and Rosemarie Dewitt what did you expect me to think?

The story went a bit nuts about three-quarters of the way through, but, at that point, I was already smitten.

I'm a huge sucker for Emily Blunt -- I love even terrible movies because she's in them -- but Dewitt stole the show (arguably because she had the better written character, but who cares about arguing that?).
