The Laundry Series submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on August 19, 2013, 10:15am In the fourth and latest book in his "Laundry" series, author Charles Stross brings a now addled but still geeky Bob and his girlfriend Mo back to battle the supernatural on behalf of planet Earth. The constant danger is getting harder for our hero and his relationship with his sweetheart is getting strained.

Bob works for a secret government agency, code named the Laundry because their office used to be located above a laundromat, that battles the supernatural to keep Earth safe. To fully understand this book, you'll have to read "The Atrocity Archives," "The Jennifer Morgue" and "The Fuller Memorandum" first. The series is a spoof of Lovecraft stories and James Bond novels, so it's hilarious but also a good read.

The series includes a gay couple, nick named Pinky and the Brain, who work with and used to be roommates of Bob.
