Alright submitted by Sonia on June 13, 2014, 9:41am This movie was made in a tone similar to Evil Dead. So if you enjoyed Evil Dead or horror movies that aren't meant to be taken too seriously then this movie is for you. But be warned if you are squeamish there are a couple gory and just plain gross parts in this movie.

A New Classic submitted by majean on July 21, 2018, 4:47pm Loved, loved, loved this movie. It's surprisingly well plotted, well executed, and the actors worked well together. The effects are great and done by Academy Award-winning Weta Digital, which was co-founded by Peter Jackson. There are many homages to other classic horror films, such as Evil Dead, without directly copying them. There is some gore, so if you don't like blood, cover your eyes, and one scene that made the men in our group uncomfortable, but the women found hilarious (I'll let you guess what that was).
