COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Great Movie submitted by hcf on August 1, 2012, 2:56pm You don't have to like fishing to watch this movie. It is more about relationships between people. Kristin Scott Thomas is fantastic to watch!

Boring submitted by manz on January 16, 2013, 2:36pm Am I the only person to find this movie boring and hard to get into? I really wanted to like it.

Some Good Points submitted by crazypockets on June 16, 2013, 12:58pm I think this movie had some cute elements, but it did get a little boring in parts. It seems like for it to be as predictable and straight-forward as it was, it should be a true story. The fact that it wasn't makes it somehow bizarre. But Emily Blunt gives an Oscar-worthy performance, and who doesn't love Ewan McGregor? Overall a nice story.

Entertaining and likable submitted by wendylv on June 29, 2015, 4:09pm I thought this was a fun movie. My family had doubts about picking this one but they were quickly won over as the story got rolling. The beginning really grabs you with great dialogue and interesting characters. Kristin Scott Thomas is hilarious, it's a shame she's not in more scenes. The development of the characters' relationships seems a little rushed and some of the drama gets a little schmaltzy. This would be a fabulous family movie if your kids are OK with f-bombs.

very nice surprise submitted by 21621031390949 on July 3, 2015, 4:06pm i just stumbled upon this movie, never having heard anything about it. My whole family - husband, me, and 18-yr-old daughter - really enjoyed it. A sweet Rom Com of sorts. Really liked Ewan McGregor and Kristin Scott Thomas, whom I don't always enjoy. I'd give it 4 stars.

Lovely film submitted by KOH on August 13, 2017, 10:15am Slower pace, but a lovely film.

Good submitted by ferielp on August 24, 2017, 12:57pm Dry humor romcom with Ewan Mcgregor? Unlikely plot point? Sign me up!

true story submitted by rjsjwilliams on June 27, 2018, 3:11pm I stumbled across this film by playing the Summer Games and I'm really happy I did. It said it was a true story, so I wanted to know how this Saudi prince was going to bring salmon to Yemen and have them run. I'm really happy I found it and watched it. It was one of the most enjoyable movies I've seen in months.

Not very good submitted by JY 2005 on August 1, 2018, 9:20am I don't really like this movie because the plot was very boring and the characters were not interesting.
