COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Funny and Good submitted by ssmyth on August 11, 2012, 10:34pm I love the books and it was fun to see how it translated into a movie. The actors for both Morelli and Ranger were excellent! A fun watch and some funny parts. I just love Grandma!

Not awful submitted by GJBarnett2 on September 6, 2013, 10:36pm and funny in places. Probably intended as the first in a series of Stephanie Plum movies.
Not essential to the story line but ...at one point Katherine Heigl gets 12 shots out of a 5-shot Smith & Wesson Model 60 and 7 in another scene.

Ok submitted by leenajong on August 5, 2017, 5:40pm Not bad.

Does Its Job submitted by Meginator on August 6, 2017, 11:30am Capturing the character of the Stephanie Plum mysteries on film was always going to be an uphill battle, and sure enough the film doesn't quite nail the feel of the source material. That said, this is a straightforward detective story with some elements of romantic comedy and, if that sounds like something that you'd like, you'll probably like it just fine. This film is a fun diversion and is plenty entertaining for the time commitment.

Mediocre submitted by cbrewster on July 5, 2018, 9:34pm I really expected more from the movie. I had really thought Betty White would be a better actress to play Stephanie's grandmother, instead they used Debbie Reynolds. I like Debby, but I don't think she has the edge to play grandma. I also thought the portrayal of Stephanie's relationship with Joe wasn't as strong as the book and I found it to be a bit boring and a letdown. However, if they had made more of these movies I would definitely watch them.

Entertaining enough. submitted by AGAPHD on June 24, 2020, 2:18pm This was entertaining enough. The books are better though...

crypto chart patterns submitted by zxclord123 on May 1, 2022, 5:21am How to use indicators for successful cryptocurrency trading? personally, it became clear to me after reading the article macd crypto there, using the example of crypto chart patterns
, the trading strategy is explained using indicators there, it explains in detail how to read and use the MACD. And also examples of several strategies using MACD are given.

Funny, but not as good as the book submitted by aphrodite42 on June 14, 2023, 5:45pm I really love this series, i'm up to 23 in the books, and was so excited to see them make a move. It was... OK. I mean there are worse out there that get sequels! but not this one. part of the issue could be that the glossed up the main lead too much. Stephanie is a mess, they didn't really show that, which took a lot of the fun out of it. My recommendation? stick to the books. but if your realllly bored get it from the library vs wasting money streaming.
