The Parasol Protectorate Concludes
submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on July 20, 2013, 1:58am
Alexia Tarabotti, Lady Woolsey, and family travel to Egypt to solve a baffling mystery involving attacks on the British supernatural community. While in Africa, the family meets one of the world's oldest vampires and discovers terrible secrets in the dessert.
I highly recommend this series (but start with the first novel!), especially to anyone who enjoys steampunk and/or fantasy. The plot keeps readers turning the pages. Sadly, "Timeless" is the last of the five Parasol Protectorate novels. Don't worry, author Gail Carriger has a spin-off series coming out soon about Alexia's daughter.
Great finale submitted by Princess Cimorene on July 23, 2021, 4:35pm I love Alexia and her loved ones and this book's venture into Egypt made it even more exciting. A lot happens in this one so be prepared for a wild ride!
