COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Please don't insult this good movie by calling it a crappy "SCI FI" FLick, it is not, really. It is FAR better than that. submitted by Tassos on March 24, 2022, 12:14pm This is a seriously good movie, but I had to skip several minutes of it, especially when this ugly actress, the daughter of actress Jane Birkin, playing the "claire" character, would rear her fugly face, and make repulsive sounds reminiscent of George Constanza's nasal sounds.

This woman really ruins the movie. ALSO, I wanted to watch some parts at double speed, with subtitles, but the damned format of this dvd, like many new ones, has a stupid band that hides most of the subtitles when you do fast forward.

Conclusion: PLEASE do not classify this decent, good movie as some crappy SCI FI flick! It sure is not!

Director's Best? submitted by jibkidder on June 15, 2022, 12:57pm The beautiful Charlotte Gainsbourg is always a delight. I loathe Van Trier but nevertheless, he gets it right with this one. One of the most visceral on-screen depictions of depression on film. I think if you've ever experienced severe depression, you'll get this one.
