COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Supernatural submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on August 24, 2012, 1:50pm If you are going to watch "Supernatural," start with the first series.
This is a show about two brothers--Dean and Sam--who continue their father's legacy fighting demons and other evils in memory of their dead mother.
As a science fiction fan, I'm always disappointed when shows such as "Supernatural" fail to rise above the sexist stereotypes of the genre. This show does have some interesting plotlines, but for the most part the show is about violence and machismo. The characters often make foolish decisions in a vain attempt to help each other.
It's OK to watch if you just want to veg out, but it's not my favorite.
