Fun and Silly submitted by cbrewster on August 15, 2013, 10:18pm Such a fun and silly book for younger children. Teaches children that certain word and phrases can sound the same, but mean different things.
Introduces similar sounding new words to the little kids submitted by fisyed on August 24, 2015, 12:34pm Kids laugh and learn while reading the book. Its interesting to adults too. So many words we don't think about that sound the same and mean so different and can create such hilarious situations in a story
Funny submitted by TLW1998 on June 21, 2022, 11:32pm Amelia Bedelia books are great for early readers. They are funny and entertaining books that often teach the meaning of many words that sound the same, but have different meanings. Amelia Bedelia is a hilarious character that even makes me laugh out loud. My 5-7 year old daughter loves to read these books, and they make her crack up. Even a couple years later, she still likes to reread these. They are funny, easy-to-read books. Luckily, Amelia Bedelia can bake. Otherwise, she would be out of a job. So good!
