I almost couldn't get past the first chapter as I was so inspired, I wanted to rush right out and get started on my craft activism! The first chapter was on yarn bombing- instructions, patterns, tips,... even a suggestion to use a waterproof/UV protective spray on your creations. It would make a fun project to do with neighbors to beautify something in our neighborhood.
The projects and people in the book are worth a look even if you don't aspire to craft activism.
Also, in the appendix, I found many web pages about crafting which I had been unaware of. A nice resource.
