COMMUNITY REVIEWS

A pretty fair album submitted by calinescus on August 2, 2019, 3:56pm I liked a lot of Pavements singles and their more popular songs which I found online. I decided to listen to this album cover to cover a few times.

The flow of the album is not great for listening cover to cover. Songs have wildly different moods and it can be jarring when some of the more obnoxious songs come on.

"Grounded" is a great song, and I would recommend that listeners stick through this album because the last half has a lot of great tunes that I wouldn't have listened to, if I didn't stick through some of the crap in the first half.

I still like Pavement, but this doesn't seem like a strong showing. The good songs on here are good not because they really blew me away, but because they manage to be more listenable.

Give it a spin. But be prepared to hit that "next track" button on your car stereo a few times.

Peak Pavement submitted by jibkidder on June 14, 2022, 8:57am I think some 90s bands have aged better than Pavement, but as far as Pavement goes this is the peak.
