Interesting Study of Human Nature submitted by thesrays on August 7, 2022, 9:21pm Donna Leon's Inspector Brunetti mysteries are always enjoyable, but underlying the storyline is Leon's deep understanding of human nature as well as her knowledge of Venice and the outlying islands of the lagoon. A study in provincialism, this book takes place in an isolated community where sticking together has long been linked to survival...even if it means protecting a murderer.
