Fantastic submitted by klickitat on August 12, 2012, 8:05am Richly imagined, unique, suspenseful -- a must read for fans of urban fantasy! Sequel will be available in November 2012.

Fantasy lover's dream submitted by nsvinicki on July 21, 2017, 4:22pm A beautifully created world, and such an amazing concept. Very unique for the YA genre, not your typical paranormal romance. No romantic triangles, but is angsty enough to satisfy any YA lover. My favorite part is the world building. Definitely worth a look for anyone who loves YA fantasy!

Exciting! submitted by lianayz on July 14, 2020, 10:36am This book did a great job in mixing fantasy and romance, while still keeping the story exiting. My only problem is the sad sad ending.

Pretty good! submitted by audreyhalversen on July 13, 2022, 11:24am I think this series is definitely worth a read, but I am also going to take a second to plug the Strange the Dreamer duology- which I think is a bit better than these books and seriously underrated.

That said, this series has interesting characters & world-building, solid plot twists/surprises, and good fantasy-romance vibes all around.
