Absolutely amazing!

I didn't know what to expect when I picked up Lord Norwich's book on the Papacy. I've always been a fan of Papal history but dull, dry books annoy me and are no fun to read. Norwich's book covers the history of the world's most influential lineage of kings (the Popes) from the ordination of Saint Peter all the way to Pope Benedict XVI. It's an excellent book, which ranges from being exciting to being funny while still telling a spot-on accurate history of Absolute Monarchs.
