A black comedy that chronicles one man's descent into a life of absurdist fantasy. Morgan is a social misfit obsessed with Karl Marx, large primates, and stopping his ex-wife from marrying his former best friend. Against the background of swinging 1960s London, the film follows Morgan through his pursuit of both marital reconciliation and sabotage.
