80s teen film classic submitted by irenzero on June 10, 2022, 7:56pm Dealing with realities of teens in the early 80s Fast Times is a classic for a reason. Ott of touch teachers, the Mall, rock music, stoners, fast food jobs, abortion, status -- Fast Time is more serious than Rock and Roll High School, but not as serious as Over the Edge in exploring the Gen X teens as they deal with life in the early 80s.
