ugh. wish I had the time back. submitted by rats on February 3, 2021, 10:56pm On the front cover of the DVD, there's a quote attributed to Truman Capote. "One of the greatest books ever written by anyone in the world." ugh. I haven't read the book, but the DVD is misogynistic. I enjoyed the first 3rd. All the pooh stories and comments are ho-hum but very much a part of the life caring for a four-legged.
The rest of the video, which begins to move a little slowly for me, is taken up with an irrational desire to have his beloved dog enjoy "all of life" and get her pregnant. Tedious events happen. In the end, he kills 5 of the 8 pups and fails to find good homes for the other three. ugh.
