More Girl Action Stars! submitted by crazypockets on June 16, 2012, 3:50pm I love that there are more action movies coming out starring girls and women. This one is about a 16-year-old who has been brought up from birth to be a super intelligent, ruthless, highly-skilled fighting machine by her father, played by Eric Bana. What it lacked in originality it made up for in some good action scenes and some interesting character development.

Chilled me to the core submitted by smgop on June 19, 2012, 7:56am This move was somewhat disturbing in its premise, that babies were genetically engineered to become elite fighting machines with less fear, more power and precision. The movie certainly provided action - but some of the violence was very disturbing.

Fantastic submitted by wampishing on July 8, 2013, 11:05am Absolutely beautifully shot, this movie manages to be both subtle and action-packed. It's one of the few films I can think of that both adrenaline junky movie-goers and fans of artsy films would enjoy.
