Chilled me to the core
This move was somewhat disturbing in its premise, that babies were genetically engineered to become elite fighting machines with less fear, more power and precision. The movie certainly provided action - but some of the violence was very disturbing.
More Girl Action Stars!
I love that there are more action movies coming out starring girls and women. This one is about a 16-year-old who has been brought up from birth to be a super intelligent, ruthless, highly-skilled fighting machine by her father, played by Eric Bana. What it lacked in originality it made up for in some good action scenes and some interesting character development.
