Good for Begineners submitted by audreyh on June 12, 2015, 10:48am I found that this book had a lot of good project ideas and basic information about creating a homestead in an urban environment. For people just starting to learn about homesteading, this is a good place to start. The projects are simple, relatively low-effort, and easy to complete. I thought this book was a little light on the history of farming/agriculture in the US, but I was also looking for something a little more complex. I think this would be a great book for a family to use.

Interesting submitted by zmclaugh on July 1, 2018, 8:20pm Lots of basic ways to get started with "homesteading," especially if you have no idea where to start or what to do first.
