Astronomy submitted by Zhengyang1022 on July 27, 2012, 11:51am This book is about how scientists found out about the universe around us, and how they learned why our universe is like it is.

DK makes things simple submitted by tbbrown76 on July 25, 2014, 8:31pm and understandable. Good science.

book rate submitted by mary83 on August 2, 2014, 2:51pm nice work+it is long

Good resource for hist of science/scientifc revolution unit submitted by hathaway1066 on July 20, 2015, 10:19am This gives visuals and a bit more than the standard, basic info re Copernicus, Brahe, Galileo, Newton, and Kepler. It also gives a context for them and an overview of astronomy from ancient roots to modern astrophysics. The visuals of early telescopes were a pleasant surprise. Having this on hand when a class learns about the early discoveries of the solar system would make a lot of sense.

Astronomy submitted by Samiran Muli on July 19, 2019, 1:09pm This is a great eyewitness book that teaches people about astronomy. I like space and astronomy a lot so I found this book very interesting but others who may not be as interested may find this book a little boring.
