The Last Unicorn submitted by susanlam on July 12, 2011, 12:32pm This is a wonderful book, and you should read it even if you're not a big fan of fantasy. The prose is gorgeous and the images are beautiful. The story follows a unicorn who believes herself to be the last of her kind. She travels for a long time and meets some companions on the way, one of whom is a wizard. But when she reaches the lair of the creature who hunted down the other unicorns, the wizard who is traveling with her must turn her into a human to protect her from harm. This is a classic, and the story will stay with you for a long time.

Excellent submitted by Susan4Pax -prev. sueij- on August 12, 2018, 9:01pm A fantasy classic that I somehow never read. Beautiful, and classic for many reasons.

Poetic submitted by lstorc on August 28, 2018, 12:58am This is one of the most beautiful reads there is! It is not only a tale about a quest, but about finding and defining oneself. It is a search for home, belonging, and finding out that one they belong in many places and among different people.
