I wish it was 1983 submitted by manz on June 19, 2011, 11:10am Oh, R.E.M. I had to listen to your new album, because in my heart of hearts, you are "that band" for me. Well, back in the day. So I still have to wonder, still have to listen. This album is very Monster-y. I still love me some Stipe, but I'd rather get my fix by listening to Fables or Murmur or something of that nature. Thanks for being. As always.

Good New Album submitted by Meginator on August 16, 2017, 12:48pm This is a pretty good album from R.E.M., with particularly strong opening and closing tracks. It's very much in the vein of the band's previous releases, especially their more recent music, and has the particular trademarks of their sound.
