Not my favorite submitted by thesrays on July 6, 2020, 1:51pm I enjoy David McCullough. I love Europe. Perhaps that put unrealistically high expectations on this book, but it has been my least favorite McCullough read thus far. The storyline just wasn't as compelling as I've come to expect from him. I'd read Panama Canal or any of his books on the early history of the United States...especially John Adams...instead.
