COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Awesome submitted by mysterio on July 5, 2011, 12:26pm Awesome

Director's cut is excellent submitted by beeniepie on June 18, 2017, 11:44am I already loved this film with its original edit, but the director's cut definitely added a layer of surrealism. The "something's not right" vibe portrayed had more heart and less action (not a bad thing) than the Matrix films, which borrowed heavily.

Dark City submitted by lstorc on August 5, 2018, 10:26pm Abysmal! This lacks plot, character development, and even cinematography.

Last few minutes ruined what was a really good movie submitted by Will O on August 26, 2020, 9:26am Really liked the first hour and twenty minutes with the weird noir vibe and sci-fi mix but then the generic chosen one with power that was inside him all along versus big bad fight kind of took the wind out of the sails for me.
If the landing had been stuck a little better and the mystery paid of in a slightly less cliched way I would have loved the movie but instead I enjoyed the setup more than the payoff which is a shame since the end of a movie is what sticks with you 99% of the time.

TERRIBLE movie, as are almost ALL so-called Sci fi or "fantasy' space soap operas. TERRIBLE. submitted by Tassos on February 28, 2021, 10:33am NOTHING is good about this SILLY movie, and I am not even done with it, it was UNBEARABLE to watch. I am not surprised, because 99 out of every 100 Sci Fi flicks (they do not deserve to be called Films or Movies) STINK to high heaven. Pathetic soap operas, with imbecilic scripts and pitiful dialogs. HORRIBLE. THis includes especially ALL Star Wars and Star Trek Movies. THOSE should be forbidden to anybody OVER the age of 8, or at most 12. Seriously, are these silly movies watchable by any thinking adult?????? The same applies to the countless BATMAN movies. and even worse are the flicks about other so-called 'superheroes' They are so stupid, you cannot even LAUGH at the awful performances.
