The Universalization of a Classic submitted by Ryan Burdick on July 6, 2011, 7:45am It's always been incredible, but a shame that so many scenes have been lost. Now, only TWO (that's right, 2) scenes are missing. The rest have been found. So if you've seen Metropolis or not, make sure to check this one out.

One of the best silent films submitted by chowcy on July 6, 2012, 2:27pm Most silent films can be dull, overly exaggerated, and slow-paced, but Metropolis is great. Although it's long, it's engaging. It also has surprisingly advanced special effects for a film from the 1920's. This particular 2010 edition has restored many of the scenes that had been missing.
