A love story and a murder mystery set against the backdrop of a New York real estate dynasty in the 1980s. The story was inspired by the story of Robert Durst, scion of the wealthy Durst family. Durst was suspected, but never tried, of murdering his wife who disappeared in 1982 and was never found.

The characters seemed to be toned down to the point that the whole story becomes somewhat flat. This true crime tale had the feel of a mediocre Lifetime channel movie and just failed to reach its potential. C-

true story submitted by sumsaylor on July 27, 2015, 1:56pm Solid true crime story has the feel of real life to it. It is both a love story and a missing persons/murder mystery based on a still unsolved case that continues to haunt New York investigators and reporters and detectives.
