Human Body submitted by ginnyb60 on July 2, 2011, 7:26am My son, age 9, loves this book. The book is divided into sections and each section describes a group of topics in a humerous, yet factual, way using a fun, cartoon-like character to illustrate the major concepts.

great book submitted by isma on August 26, 2012, 8:52pm my daughter has been learning about the human body and enjoys it.

Great beginner book submitted by beeniepie on June 18, 2015, 10:05pm I love the Basher book series. My son is an early reader who craves more details, but still loves illustrations. Basher books are great at providing a good amount of detail with a corresponding illustration to keep him engaged.

My only gripe about the book is that there is no full body illustration that shows all of the identified body parts in one body. My son wanted to see where the liver was in correspondence to the kidneys, and I had to provide him with one of my poorly-drawn attempts. I hope that future additions will add something like this to a terrific book on human anatomy.

A Book With Guts submitted by SBNB on July 26, 2016, 6:25pm This seems to be a great book for learning about what makes up the human body, from micro to macro. There's a lot of writing, so it's not good for really young kids, but older kids will definitely learn a lot from it.
