Great book and a great recipe! submitted by gulickb on April 14, 2015, 9:22am This book is a quaint story about making Arroz con leche which is form of rice pudding. The books uses animals and farm terms to tell the story of all of the items needed to make the dish as well as some animal names, both in English and in Spanish. This book would be good for a child who is learning Spanish or who is interested in cooking. The book is aimed at younger children and the illustrations are simple and eye catching.

The Cazuela That the Farm Maiden Stirred submitted by SBNB on June 14, 2020, 8:25pm This book reminds me of The House That Jack Built, I think. It teaches Spanish vocabulary and has nice illustrations.
