Long-time fan! submitted by nsvinicki on July 24, 2018, 9:51am As a long time fan, this album saw a very distinct shift in style for My Chemical Romance. This album feels more expansive and arena-rock than their emotional and dark first three albums. The songs are great workout jams and powerful ballads, and definitely speak to my experiences in life. Definitely a great album for anyone who loves modern alternative music.

Electric and Fun! submitted by pangr on August 24, 2022, 7:09pm After spending a quarter of my life with friends begging me to listen to MCR, I finally was stuck on a road trip where this album was put on. The end result of this experience was me coming back to it on Spotify, excited to listen to it again, and then giving the rest of MCR's discography a listen. The songs on this CD are so, so fun, and it's clear the band is having a good time with them too. The album is full of great tracks that feel perfect for the apocalypse.

The album marked a departure from the band's previous sound, moving away from the dark and introspective themes of their earlier albums and adopting a more upbeat and energetic pop-punk/alternative rock sound. Catchy hooks, anthemic choruses, and the band's willingness to experiment with different musical styles makes this album awesome!
