Victory of the Daleks -- The time of angels.
After his explosive regeneration, the Eleventh Doctor awakes to discover his TARDIS is about to crash. After falling from the sky, he pulls himself out of the wreckage to come face-to-face with young Amy Pond. The Doctor promises to take Amy to the stars. Fantastic submitted by ljq on July 16, 2011, 4:02pm Love it

River Song and Weeping Angels make it fantastic submitted by cherylo on July 22, 2011, 9:23pm Victory of the Daleks is the weakest Matt Smith (Eleventh Doctor) episode in my opinion. However, make sure to have the next disc on hand, as The Time of the Angels is the first half of a two-parter featuring Dr. River Song.

River Song! submitted by brady.emmett on August 1, 2011, 11:19am Let's get this straight. I love Matt Smith as the Doctor. I love Karen Gillan as Amy Pond. Matt Smith takes his role as the Doctor seriously, and absolutely knocks it out of the park. He is old and young at the same time. He's still got legs. He is still reeling from the loss of Donna and his run-in with the Master. But he takes the time to listen to 8year old Amelia Pond, the girl who waited. This series is full of human connection and human emotion, and the episodes get better and better. Run, don't walk, and pick this season up!

so-so submitted by chowcy on July 19, 2012, 10:11pm I'm sorry, but Victory of the Daleks has to be the worst episode of the season. On the other hand, the Time of Angels is one of the best. So be sure to borrow this disc anyway!

River song submitted by algeria05 on July 11, 2013, 6:13pm River song is hilarious the fact that that she knows the doctor so well and the fact that she knows how to fly the tardis is mind blowing. but i wont reveal anything else all i can say is spoilers.....

Further adventures of the Doctor submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on July 19, 2013, 10:13pm The new Doctor and his new companion, Amy Pond, continue their adventures saving the universe as they battle two of the Doctor's greatest enemies: the Daleks and the Weeping Angels. The Angels are one of the scariest science fiction species. We also meet Dr River Song again and learn a bit more about her. This will become crucial as the series progresses.
