DC Showcase submitted by Spidon on July 19, 2011, 11:22am The title and cover art are misleading. The story of Captain Marvel is just one of 4 stories showcased in this DVD. The remaining "episodes" feature The Spectre, Green Arrow, and Jonah Hex. While the Spectre's story falls flat with its 70s Noir setting (including effects to make it look like a 1970s low-budget film), the other three are excellent examples of how animation isn't just for kids and can be used to tell a good story.

If you are a fan of comicbooks, superheroes, or even just animation, this is the showcase for you.
