Bro Country submitted by Meginator on June 12, 2020, 1:09pm Though Jason Aldean has the voice and the lyrics down, this album never felt like much more than a paint-by-numbers bro-country effort to me. Even his use of rap feels more contrived than inventive, and outside of the singles I didn’t find any particularly catchy hooks. While Aldean does just enough to explain his mass appeal, this record didn’t move the needle much for me.
