submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on June 14, 2014, 1:47pm
Detective Sam Tyler continues to investigate crimes in 1973, although his real body is in a coma in a hospital in 2006.
His 2006 body hears the voice of his girlfriend breaking up with him. Meanwhile his detective work causes him to meet his girlfriend's mother before her daughter was born. Sam often hears voices from the future and hears people on the television or radio taunt him about this bewildering dilemma that he appears to have a complete life in the 1970s while simultaneously in a coma in the 2006. Sam has been desperately trying to figure out how to return to the 21st century.
"Doctor Who" fans will recognize John Simm as the actor who plays The Master masquerading as a politician named Saxon.
