Lovely Illustrations and a Good Book submitted by timdufresne on August 7, 2018, 8:51am I love learning about bugs! This was a really good book!
Excellent illustrations, but the writing could be better... submitted by hgerety on July 22, 2020, 4:20pm Darling illustrations are paired with fun ideas for relevant projects and activities. I read this book aloud to my 3 ½ and 2 year old, and it seemed just barely within the grasp of the older - a four or five year old would probably get more out of it. I didn't really care for the corny jokes and the modern language ("Cool!"), but they were entirely inoffensive, and the illustrations really are very sweet.
