COMMUNITY REVIEWS
quite an adventure submitted by Sylwia on July 17, 2013, 12:38pm Quite amusing book about a boy that supportable neglected his cow which ended up with a cold and sneezed. This sneeze caused a chain reaction of things to happen. From a little sneeze to complete chaos in school, town, and zoo with some fireworks at the end. The ending though bothers some parents, not me per se, where the boy's father pulls him by the ear and leads him out of the picture- he is in trouble. Since this book is written in 1957, the conclusion is obvious to parents but not children, so don't fret. enjoy it
One thing after another

Why do I have to clean my bedroom? If this is a question your children ask? It might be fun to read them this book in response.
This fun book explores the domino effect of what one small act or absence of an act can do. Poor little Fletcher innocently became distracted and did not finish one of his chores. Well, this one absence of doing his chore, turned into a cold, that turned into a...and into a...and all the way out to sea with a fire boat at the rescue. Enjoy this well written and illustrated turn of events.
More suited for children with a longer attention span.
Retro humor submitted by FordAlpha on August 30, 2019, 10:25pm This old-fashioned but still funny picture book depicts an outlandish chain of events triggered by a young boy neglecting his chores. Although I enjoyed it, my kids seemed turned off by the illustration style and perhaps the length of the book and weren't interested in repeated readings.
