Ok submitted by rimpopu on August 6, 2013, 10:16am There are 75 different snowflake patterns in this book that covers from Christmas to Hanukkah to New Year. The patterns are set for working with a 81/2" by 11" paper which is the size of a standard copy paper. I liked all the patterns given in the book and the fact that I could try them using my printer papers. What I didn't like was the instruction on folding the paper. It was confusing with its fold A to A, B to B, etc. I felt once I fold the paper wouldn't my A now be B?! Or the author could have called it new A, new B. Anyway, I figured it out eventually. Each page has a triangular cut out of the pattern you will be making. You will have to either trace or photocopy the ones you want before starting your project. All the instructions are clubbed together in two pages at the beginning of the book. If you don't read them carefully you wouldn't know to cut the white part and not the black part. You need good eye sight or good glasses to the instructions. I don't know why the author felt the need to use such small fonts and only brown and white for the entire book. It makes it look drab for being a holiday crafts book. I will get it again just to copy some patterns for holiday projects but I'll pass it if I can find another book on snowflakes.
