Sweet and Satisfying submitted by MariaK on January 13, 2011, 5:22pm Like the best of desserts, Dotty is a well-balanced blend of sweetness and substance. Like many imaginitive children, Ida struggles to grow up and get along with other children while staying true to herself. The solution to Ida's conundrum is believable without being preachy or saccharine. A great story -- and I love the whimsical and expressive illustrations. If you have ever had an imaginary friend (or if you still do) you should take a look at this lovely little book.
